CGA
Corby Gymnastics Academy has changed a lot over the years, but one thing has stayed the same: our dedication to providing the best quality coaching to our gymnasts that we can. In 2012, Corby Gymnastics Academy moved into new, permanent facilities and ever since, we've gone from strength-to-strength, improving our programmes across both recreational and elite gymnastics. In 2016, we were able to expand our facility giving both our Gymnastics for All (GfA) and High Performance gymnasts a dedicated area to train. This has allowed us to offer more tailored and varied sessions from pre-school up to competitive levels.
OUR RECENT ACHIEVEMENTS
Women's Artistic
First International Competitions
Hannah Wayman had the amazing opportunity to represent Scotland at Northern Europeans Team Competition in November in Sweden. Hannah managed a clean competition and made a beam final where she came 6th. Team Scotland team success in coming 5th overall.
Scarlett Bullock was selected to represent Great Britain at the prestigious Junior International tournament TOP gym in Belgium! This was a very quirky competition where Two GB gymnasts were teamed up with two Canadian gymnasts and competed on two pieces each and overall their team came 2nd - Amazing results for all.
GB Squad Selection
Huge congratulations to Scarlett Bullock on being selected for the GB Juniors squad
for 2023! Such an incredible opportunity and so well deserved for such a hardworking and
humble gymnast
British Championships
After an amazing competition for Elise Marston and Scarlett Bullock, Scarlett Came overall 8th ins the whole of GB and was crowned Junior Beam Champion and Silver medal on floor
Scottish Championships
Cassie overall Espoir champion as well as achieving beam and floor champion
Hannah came away with Senior bars and beam champion – and she only competed on
these two pieces. Both girls have also now been selected for the Scottish Squad - Amazing!

GFA
Rise Competition
Successful day with all the children walking away with a huge smile and their certificates and medals. All Gymnasts were awarded with either a Bronze, Silver or Gold certificate for each apparatus. - Well Done!
May County 4-Piece Competition
Some of our county gymnast competed at Matrix and had a very successful day,
CGA came away with 3 County Champions - Khamsin Sellekaerts, Kacey Herbert and Poppy Moore. Congratulations to everyone who took part.
British Gymnastics Rise Competition - Norths Herts
4 Gymnasts from GFA recently took part in a competition organised by British gymnastics following their new rise programme. They were all awarded with a certificate and a medal. It was a fantastic experience for all and a very well organised event by the Rise team at BG.
